Duc M. Vo, MD, FACS

Dr. Vo was born in Vietnam and shortly after moved to the Pacific Northwest, where he grew up. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the colon, rectum and anus.

Education

Dr. Vo earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry at University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, then attended medical school at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, D.C. At the University of California, Davis School of Medicine in Sacramento, he completed his general surgery residency, then fulfilled a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, before moving to Eugene.

Certifications & Professional Interests

Certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery, his particular interests are in minimally invasive surgery, colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, bowel incontinence and other pelvic floor disorders. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an avid supporter and member of the Oregon Cancer Alliance.

Personal Interests

Dr. Vo is married and has three children. He enjoys spending time with his family, running, reading and gardening.
