Breast Cancer Tumor Boards are a multidisciplinary team of Eugene-Springfield medical providers who meet to discuss breast cancer cases. Specialists include pathologists, radiologists, surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and other specialists who come from a variety of practices. The tumor boards provide opportunities for physicians to discuss diagnoses, prognoses and treatment plans for improved patient outcomes.

Oregon Cancer Alliance brings together leading cancer specialists to provide coordinated expert care. Patients are guided through the treatment pathway by trained navigators using expedited scheduling while physician teams collaborate to provide every patient the very best care.

The American College of Surgeons (ACS) is a scientific and educational association of surgeons that was founded in 1913 to improve the quality of care for the surgical patient by setting high standards for surgical education and practice. ACS sponsors a variety of continuing medical education programs, such as the Clinical Congress, to help surgeons keep abreast of the latest information on surgical subjects.

The American Society of Breast Surgeons, the primary leadership organization for general surgeons who treat patients with breast disease, is committed to continually improving the practice of breast surgery by serving as an advocate for surgeons who seek excellence in the care of breast patients. This mission is accomplished by providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and by promoting education, research, and the development of advanced surgical techniques.
