Doctor Bios

Swee H. Teh, M.D.

Dr. Swee Teh was born in Melaka, Malaysia. He has lived in Malaysia, Ireland, and the United States. Dr Teh is fluent in English, Chinese, Malay, Cantonese, and Hokkien. He has interests in photography, cooking, gardening, hiking, and international affairs.

Dr. Teh has extensive training in advanced laparoscopic esophageal hepatobiliary surgery. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery. Dr Teh has a special interest in benign and malignant diseases of the liver, bile duct, pancreas, esophagus and stomach. He also has a passion for advanced laparoscopic surgery of the esophagus, stomach, bile duct and pancreas. He is now performing laparoscopic esophageal resection, laparoscopic stomach resection, laparoscopic liver resection, laparoscopic radio frequency liver resection, and laparoscopic pancreas resection and drainage procedure.

Dr. Teh and his wife, Adriana, have two children, Kieran and Mariana.

Research fellow in tumor angiogenesis at St Vincent University College Hospital, University College, Dublin, Ireland.
