Doctor Bios

Craig S. Seidman, M.D.

Dr. Craig Seidman was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His hobbies include kayaking, surfing and backcountry expeditions. He moved to Eugene with his family in 2002.

He is certified by the American Board of Surgery in both general and vascular surgery, and is a member of the Oregon Medical Association and the Lane County Medical Society. Dr Seidman is also a fellow of the American College of Surgery. He has published and lectured on various topics in general and vascular surgery. His original research in the field of vascular surgery won awards at the American Venous Forum and the New England Society for Vascular Surgery.

Dr. Seidman is the Medical Director for Oregon Heart and Vascular Institute as well as a member of the society of vascular surgery. He has done fellowships in vascular surgery, endovascular surgery, and trauma.

His special interests lie in the field of vascular surgery. He has brought to Eugene unique experience in general, vascular and endovascular surgery. He has the most experience with aortic stents and grafting for abdominal aortic aneurysm, and thoracic aneurysms in the region. He is introducing numerous new and innovative technologies to our surgical community, including carotid stenting.
