Doctor Bios
Christine F. Kollmorgen M.D.
Dr. Christine Kollmorgen was born and raised in the greater Boston area. She moved to Eugene in 1998 with her husband and two sons. Her hobbies include enjoying anything the outdoors have to offer, especially skiing and watersports.
She has published extensively in advanced laparoscopic surgery, colon, rectal and endocrine surgery. She is certified by the American Board of Surgery, and is a member of the Lane County Medical Society, the Oregon Medical Association, the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the Mayo Clinic’s Priestly Society. She is a past chief of surgery at Sacred Heart Medical Center and serves as the chairwoman of the Northwest Specialty Clinics Board.
Her professional interests include hospital-physician alignment strategies. Her special clinical interests include breast, thoracic, oncologic and endocrine surgery.
